ATTENDANCE, ABSENCE AND LEAVE
- As regular attendance is an important requirement for successful result, it is compulsory for students to maintain 75% attendance during the course of academic session, otherwise the student will not be allowed to sit in examination. The percentage of attendance however could be relaxed on medical grounds; such students will not be eligible to receive Academic Awards.
- Attendance on first three days in the new session and after summer vacation is essential. Failure to which may render the name struck off the rolls. Re-admission fee will be charged.
- Leave can be obtained for urgent and unavoidable circumstances or inthe case of sickness, against written application from the parents/guardians to the Principal.
- No one who has been absent on previous day will be admitted to the class without a letter from the parents, addressed to the Principal, stating the reason for the absence.
- Students who have been sick for more than 5 days should bring a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
- The name of a students who is absent for continuous 7 days without obtaining leave shall be struck off from the rolls. On re-admission,a re-admission fee will be charged, which will be on the discretion of Principal.
- A stundent whose name has been struck off for absence without leave and who is habitually late or persistently careless or in disciplined may not be re-admitted to the school.
- Attendance is compulsory on school functions.
- All entries of absence, late or half-day leave should be made in the school diary.
- A special certificate will be given to the student with 100% attendance.
